Cara Dillon is a Northern Irish folk singer, born on 21st July, 1975 in Dungiven, Northern Ireland. With an impressive musical career spanning over two decades, Cara has collaborated with various notable artists such as Oige, De Danann, Equation (a folk "supergroup" featuring the Lakeman brothers), Kathryn Roberts and Polar Star alongside her husband Sam Lakeman. In 2001, she released her first solo album which marked the beginning of her successful journey as a solo artist.
