John Scofield

John Scofield is a Grammy Award winning American jazz guitarist and composer. Born on December 26th, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio, he has an impressive musical career. He has recorded and played with renowned artists such as Gerry Mulligan and Chet Baker. John was also a member of The Billy Cobham / George Duke Band for two years and recorded with Charles Mingus. He joined the Gary Burton Quartet before touring and recording with Miles Davis.

In addition to his musical accomplishments, John Scofield is happily married to Susan Scofield since 1978. They are proud parents of Jean Scofield and Evan Scofield (1987-2013).
