Pointed Sticks

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada punk/power pop band founded in August of 1978. Originally called Ernie Dick and the Pointed Sticks with original members Nick Jones (vocals), Bill Napier-Hemy (guitar and vocals), Ian Tiles (drums and vocals), and Tony Bardach (bass and vocals). They were later joined by Gord Nicholl on keyboards and engineering. Other talented musicians who contributed to the band at various times included Ken "Dimwit" Montgomery, Robert Bruce, Jon Fereira, Scott Watson, Colin Griffiths, and Chuck Biscuits. The band disbanded in May 1981 but reunited in 2006 for three gigs in Japan.
