Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston was an American singer, songwriter, model, and actress. She was born on August 9, 1963 in Newark, New Jersey and sadly passed away on February 11, 2012 in Beverly Hills, California at the age of 48.

At just 14 years old, Whitney was discovered by a talent scout and went on to sing with her mother on a track called "Life's A Party." Her career took off when she made her TV debut on "The Merv Griffin Show" in April 1983 after signing a recording deal with Clive Davis and Arista Records. One of her most iconic performances was singing "Home" from the musical "The Wiz."

In addition to her successful music career, Whitney appeared in several films. Her breakthrough role came in the movie "[url=http://www.discogs.com/Various-The-Bodyguard-Original-Soundtrack-Album/master/61126]The Bodyguard[/url]" (1992), which featured the Grammy Award-winning soundtrack.
