BTS

BTS, also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan or "Bulletproof Boy Scouts," is a South Korean septet consisting of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They co-write and co-produce their music across various genres. With lyrics touching on personal and social commentary, mental health struggles, and self-love, BTS has captivated audiences worldwide. Their albums have broken sales records and topped charts globally. BTS has received numerous accolades including American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards. They are also recognized for their philanthropy work with UNICEF.

Since their debut in 2013 with the single album "2 Cool 4 Skool," BTS has released multiple successful albums such as "Dark & Wild" (2014) and "Wings" (2016). In 2017, they made waves in the global music market by becoming the first Korean group to receive RIAA certification for their single "Mic Drop." Their studio album "Love Yourself: Tear" (2018) topped the US Billboard 200 chart. Notably, BTS became the fastest act since Michael Jackson to achieve five US number-one singles.
