Cindy

Singer/songwriter and backup vocalist, Cindy, was born in Englewood, New Jersey. She began singing at a young age and found inspiration from her cousins, the Mizell Brothers, and Cissy Houston. Cindy's career took off when she joined the church choir at First Baptist Church in Englewood and later became a touring singer at just 17 years old. She has collaborated with renowned artists such as Billy Ocean, Chaka Khan, Mariah Carey, Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, The Rolling Stones, Steely Dan, Dave Matthews Band and Alicia Keys. Cindy's talent extends beyond vocals as she has also written music for Aretha Franklin.

In 1982, Cindy gained recognition for her vocals on the Lemelle single "You Got Something Special". A year later in 1983, she released her album "Pump the Nation" with her band Attitude. Her solo single "This Could be the Night" followed in 1984.

Cindy's impressive career includes touring with The E-Street Band as a member of The Sessions Band and returning to tour with them during the Working on a Dream Tour in 2009 until the High Hopes Tour in 2014. She contributed background vocals to songs like "Shackled and Drawn" from Bruce Springsteen's Wrecking Ball album and also sang on his High Hopes album. In addition to her collaborations with Spring
