Bred and improvised in the void between “Unknown Death 2002” and “Unknown Memory”, Död Mark was initiated in a shady Berlin bar as GUD and Yung Lean´s murky side of the mirror; a manic, uneasy project stumbling along the knifes edge through a white noise, drum ´n base vortex on their self-released late 2014 Soundcloud demos.
Influenced by a homicidal cat and the ghost of Freddie Wadling, their 2016 debut album Drabbad Av Sjukdom played somewhat like Andrei Tarkovsky´s Stalker - a melancholic, lo-fi journey through unnerving areas filled with the debris of modern music, crossing the border of insanity into dangerous and forbidden soundscapes, channeling love and loss as something indistinguishable.
