Joan Of Arc

Joan Of Arc is an indie/experimental outfit hailing from Chicago, IL. Formed in 1996 by former members of Cap'n Jazz, including Tim Kinsella, Mike Kinsella, and Sam Zurick, along with Erik Bocek and Jeremy Boyle. After some lineup changes and side projects, the band split in 2001 but was resurrected in 2003 by Tim Kinsella with Sam Zurick returning. Since then, Joan Of Arc has seen a rotating cast of musicians, including appearances by Mike Kinsella and Todd Mattei.

Influenced by bands like Cap'n Jazz and Make Believe, Joan Of Arc's sound is characterized by their experimental approach to indie rock. Their music combines intricate melodies with unconventional song structures to create a unique sonic experience.

With similarities to other influential bands such as Braid and The Promise Ring, Joan Of Arc has carved out their own niche in the indie music scene. Their discography showcases their evolution as artists over the years while maintaining their distinct sound.
