Rise Against

Rise Against is a political punk rock band hailing from Chicago, Illinois. With a strong influence from traditional hardcore, the band was formed in 1999 by Joe Principe (formerly of 88 Fingers Louie) and fronted by vocalist Tim Mcllrath. Originally, Dan Precision from 88 Fingers Louie played guitar but eventually left the band, making way for Chris Chasse (formerly of Reach The Sky). They released two albums on Fat Wreck Chords before signing to Geffen Records in 2003 and making their major label debut in 2004.
