Second Hand

Second Hand was a somewhat obscure British psychedelic band from the late 1960s, known for their progressive touches. Originally called The Moving Finger, they changed their name to Second Hand in reference to their used instruments and gear. Their debut record, Reality, was released in 1968 by Polydor Records. The group consisted of Elliott on keyboards and vocals, Bob Gibbons on lead guitar, Kieran O'Connor on drums, and Nick South on bass.

Their first record showcased their progressive style ahead of its time. With guest musician Chris Williams adding cello, flute, and saxophone to the mix, Second Hand's music had a unique sound that set them apart from other bands of the era.

Despite being relatively unknown during their time, Second Hand left a lasting impact with their innovative approach to psychedelic rock. Their music continues to be appreciated by fans of the genre today.
