St. Vincent

Annie Clark, known by her stage name St. Vincent, is a singer and multi-instrumentalist from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She began playing guitar at the age of 12 and was influenced by her uncle Tuck Andress of the jazz duo Tuck & Patti. Along with guitar, Clark also plays piano, organ, drums, bass guitar, theremin, and vibraphone.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated and toured with various artists including The Polyphonic Spree, David Byrne, The Black Keys, and Sufjan Stevens. In 2013, Clark received the Smithsonian American Ingenuity Award for her contributions to music.

In 2014, she had the honor of performing with the remaining members of Nirvana at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Additionally, [m=657709], one of her albums won the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album in 2015.
