Ace Frehley

Paul Daniel "Ace" Frehley is an American musician best known as the original lead guitarist of the rock band Kiss. Born on April 27, 1951, in Bronx, New York, Frehley played with Kiss from its inception in 1973 until his departure in 1982. He took on the persona of the "Spaceman" or "Space Ace" when the band adopted costumes and theatrics.

After leaving Kiss, Frehley embarked on a successful solo career and later rejoined the band for a highly acclaimed reunion tour from 1996 to 2002. His latest album, Origins, Volume 2, was released in September of 2020.

Frehley's musical journey began at a young age in a musically inclined family. Inspired by guitar legends like Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, he taught himself to play and became one of the most popular guitarists of the '70s. Known for his frenetic playing style and iconic Gibson Les Paul guitars that appeared to be on fire during live performances, Frehley influenced a generation of new players.
