Albert Hammond

Albert Hammond is a British singer and composer, born on May 18, 1944 in London, UK. He grew up in Gibraltar before moving back to England at the age of 18. In the early 70s, Hammond relocated to Los Angeles in the United States to further his career as a musician. He has made significant contributions to the music industry and was honored with induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on June 19, 2008.

Throughout his career, Albert Hammond has showcased his talent as both a singer and composer. His journey began in London before taking him to Gibraltar and eventually leading him back to England. However, it was in Los Angeles where he truly flourished as a musician.

In addition to his own success, Albert Hammond's influence extends beyond his solo work. He is also known for being the father of Albert Hammond Jr., who is a member of The Strokes - an acclaimed rock band.
