Amanda Palmer

Amanda Palmer is an American performer, director, composer, and musician. She first gained recognition as the lead singer, keyboardist, and songwriter of The Dresden Dolls. In 2008, she released her debut solo album and quickly became known for her piano skills. She also developed a passion for playing the ukulele.

In 2012, Amanda Palmer released an album called "Theatre Is Evil," which was entirely funded by her supporters. This groundbreaking project became the top crowd-funded music endeavor and even reached the Billboard Top Ten.

Throughout her career, Amanda Palmer has collaborated with various artists but remains married to writer Neil Gaiman since January 2011. Together they have one child named Anthony “Ash” Palmer Gaiman.
