Orange Juice

Orange Juice is a Scottish post-punk band that originated in Bearsden, Glasgow. Originally known as the Nu-Sonics, they later changed their name to Orange Juice in 1979. The band signed with Alan Horne's Postcard Records and released their first record 'Falling and Laughing', which also marked the debut release for Postcard Records itself.

With their unique sound and style, Orange Juice quickly gained recognition within the post-punk scene. Their music has been influenced by various artists such as The Monochrome Set, Josef K, Television Personalities, Felt, The Pale Fountains, Aztec Camera, Young Marble Giants, The Teardrop Explodes, Close Lobsters, The Go-Betweens, The Bats, The Soft Boys, Marine Girls, The Wake, Julian Cope McCarthy Magazine.

Known for their innovative approach to songwriting and catchy melodies,Orange Juice has left an indelible mark on the music industry. Their contributions to the post-punk genre continue to inspire musicians today.
