Refused is a Swedish hardcore band formed in 1991. The band consists of vocalist Dennis Lyxzén, guitarist Kristofer Steen, drummer David Sandström, and bassist Magnus Flagge. Their lyrics often reflect non-conformist and politically far-left views.
In 2012, Refused announced their reunion after a hiatus and embarked on a world tour for nearly a year. They released five EPs and three full-length albums before originally splitting up in 1998. Their fourth full-length album "Freedom" was released in 2015.
Known for their energetic live performances, Refused has played at various renowned music festivals including Coachella, Rock am Ring, Roskilde Festival, Primavera Sound, Hellfest, Fuji Rock Festival, and more.
