Scorpions

Scorpions is a Hard Rock band formed in 1965 in Hannover, Germany by Rudolf Schenker. They have experimented with various styles of Rock music including 1970's Hard Rock and 1980's Hair / Glam Metal (Heavy Metal). The band is best known for their iconic rock anthem "Rock You Like a Hurricane" and other popular songs like "No One Like You", "Send Me an Angel", "Still Loving You", and "Wind of Change". Scorpions was ranked #46 on VH1's "Greatest Artists of Hard Rock" television program and their song "Rock You Like a Hurricane" holds the #18 spot on VH1's list of the 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs.

After performing for 45 years, Scorpions initially announced their retirement following the release of their album "Sting In The Tail". However, due to their love for touring and creating new music, they decided to continue. They have written new songs, released new albums, and continued to tour extensively. With over 100 million albums sold worldwide (some sources even mention sales exceeding 150 million), Scorpions have established themselves as one of the most successful rock bands in history.
