Caroline K

Born in 1957, Caroline K. was a co-founder of Nocturnal Emissions, together with Nigel Ayers, in 1980. She married Daniel Ayers in 2001 and resided in Italy until her death from leukemia on 12 July 2008.

Caroline K.'s unique sound and experimental approach to music made her a prominent figure in the electronic music scene. Her collaborations with artists such as Chris & Cosey, Konstruktivists, and Bourbonese Qualk showcased her versatility and creativity.

Influenced by diverse genres including industrial, post-punk, and synth-pop, Caroline K.'s music pushed boundaries and challenged conventions. Her contributions to the field continue to inspire musicians today.
