Cornell Campbell

Cornell Campbell, born on 23 November 1945 in Kingston, Jamaica, is a renowned artist who began his career in the early 1960s at Studio One. He formed The Sensations and recorded ska and rocksteady tracks for various producers. After leaving The Sensations, he briefly joined The Uniques before forming his own group called The Eternals. Cornel went on to record as a solo artist for Bunny Lee and later joined Jimmy Riley in the next version of The Uniques.

Cornel Campbell is known for his distinctive falsetto style and gained recognition as a lovers rock singer. Some of his notable hits include 'Stars' and 'Queen of the Minstrels' with The Eternals for Studio One, 'Natty Dread Inna Greenwich Village', 'The Duke Of Earl', and 'Gorgon' for Bunny Lee, and 'Everyday Is Like A Holiday' and 'Those Guys' with The Sensations.

Although Cornell's career slowed down during the 1980s, it has experienced a revival since the 1990s. He continues to captivate audiences with his unique vocals and timeless music.
