Dennis Wilson

Dennis Wilson was an American musician, singer, and songwriter who co-founded The Beach Boys along with his brothers Brian, Carl and cousin Mike Love. He served mainly on drums and backing vocals for the band from its formation in 1961 until his death in 1983. Dennis's prominence as a singer-songwriter increased into the 1970s, and he was known for his brief association with aspiring songwriter Charles Manson in the late 1960s. In addition to his musical career, Dennis starred in the road movie Two-Lane Blacktop in 1971.

Tragically, Dennis drowned at Marina Del Rey after drinking all day and then diving to recover items he had thrown overboard from his yacht three years prior. Despite this untimely end to his life, Dennis left behind a lasting legacy as a talented musician within The Beach Boys.

Throughout his career, Dennis released several solo albums that showcased his unique songwriting style. His music continues to inspire artists today and remains influential within the music industry.
