In Cold Darling

London based Irish solo artist Garret Moore releases In Cold Darling a nine track album written, recorded and produced by himself. It's self-funded and released on his own label DT Records.

A DIY virtuous guitar album with hard panned lead accompanying low registered vocals and lyrics deriving from a wide range of influences and habitats, Moore’s debut is persistent and evocative throughout its 37 minute play through. The loud vindictive lines of Wood for Fire and Stay or Go counterpoint the subtle sublime arrangements and styles of Something New and Cali as theme’s of loss and reflection ripple throughout this LP.

Recorded in recycling plants, art spaces, lofts, empty apartments and the morning of a friends funeral on the sitting room floor, In Cold Darling is a celebration of life, Male mental health and the mantra of a burning spirit and what remains once its finished.
