Grant Hart

Grant Hart was an American drummer, guitarist, singer and songwriter who made a significant impact on the punk, hardcore and alternative rock scenes. Born on 18th March 1961 in South Saint Paul, Minnesota, he began his musical journey in the early 1980s. Prior to his music career, Hart worked at a record store in St. Paul during the late 1970s.

Throughout his career, Grant Hart's talent as a musician shone through as he showcased his skills both as a solo artist and as part of various bands. His contributions to Hüsker Dü alongside *Bob Mould* were particularly noteworthy. With an authoritative voice that captivated audiences, Hart's songwriting abilities resonated with fans worldwide.

Tragically, Grant Hart passed away on 13th September 2017 at the age of 56 due to liver cancer. Despite his untimely death, his legacy lives on through his timeless music and influential body of work.
