Grateful Dead were an American rock band that formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1965. With a career spanning from 1965 to 1995, they left an indelible mark on the music industry. Originally established in 1964 as "The Warlocks," the band quickly gained popularity for their unique sound and improvisational style.The Grateful Dead's music encompassed various genres including rock, folk, blues, and psychedelic rock. Some of their most notable works include "American Beauty," "Workingman's Dead," and "Europe '72."
