Hallows Eve is an American power/thrash/speed metal band hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. The band was formed in 1983 and had two periods of activity: 1983-1993 and 2004-2013. Although no longer active, Hallows Eve made a significant impact on the metal scene during their time together.
Known for their intense and aggressive sound, Hallows Eve drew inspiration from various genres such as power metal, thrash metal, and speed metal. Their music showcased powerful vocals, blistering guitar solos, and thunderous drumming that captivated audiences worldwide.
During their active years, Hallows Eve released several albums that solidified their place in the metal community. Their unique style influenced many bands within the genre. Formed in 1983, Hallows Eve was a thrash metal band hailing from Atlanta, GA, whose first brush with notoriety came via the inclusion of their song Metal Merchants" in the Metal Massacre, Vol. 6 compilation two years later. Duly signed by the collection's parent label, Metal Blade, the group, comprised of vocalist Stacy Anderson, guitarists David Stuart and Steve "Skullator" Shoemaker, bassist Tommy Stewart, and drummer Ronny Appoldt, released their debut album, Tales of Terror, later the same year and then followed it with two more discs (1986's Death &amp; Insanity and 1988's Monument).
