Honey Bane

Honey Bane (born Donna Tracy Boylan 4 November 1963, London) is a British singer and actress known for her 1981 UK Top 30 single “Turn Me On Turn Me Off”. She began her musical career at the age of 14 in 1978 with the punk rock band the Fatal Microbes. After their breakup, she collaborated with anarcho-punk band Crass and sang vocals for Killing Joke. In 1980, she signed a five-year contract with EMI/Zonophone records under the management of Jimmy Pursey from Sham 69.

At just 14 years old, Honey Bane formed the punk rock band the Fatal Microbes in 1978. The band gained attention with their first single "Violence Grows" and received positive reviews from music paper Sounds.

Following the breakup of the Fatal Microbes in 1979, Honey Bane found herself on the run from Social Services after serving time at St. Charles Youth Treatment Centre in Essex. During this time, she collaborated with anarcho-punk activist band Crass under the name Donna and The Kebabs. Their EP "You Can be You" was released in 1980. Additionally, Honey Bane provided lead vocals for Killing Joke during a gig at London's Venue club that same year.
