One of the 20th century's most influential records is getting a major reissue. 'A Love Supreme: The Complete Masters' includes all the material - every take, overdub, and recorded conversation - from John Coltrane's two-day recording session in 1964 (the album came out in February 1965). Compiled by Verve Music Group, the reissue includes 'long-lost session reels' from a second-day session featuring Coltrane and his quartet (Elvin Jones, Jimmy Garrison, and McCoy Tyner) accompanied by Archie Shepp and Dr. Art Davis.
