Johnny Osbourne

Errol Osbourne, known as Johnny Osbourne, is a highly acclaimed reggae and dancehall singer from Kingston, Jamaica. Born in 1948 in Jones Town, he rose to fame during the late 1970s and mid-1980s. Osbourne attended the renowned Alpha Boys School in Kingston where he honed his skills in trumpet and chant.

Initially singing with The Wildcats, Osbourne embarked on a solo career after making his first recordings for Coxsone Dodd's Studio One.
