Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson is an American singer, songwriter, recording artist, author, and television personality. Born on April 24, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas, she rose to fame as the winner of Fox TV's first American Idol competition. With 58 percent of the audience's votes, Clarkson emerged victorious and quickly released her debut single "A Moment Like This," which achieved platinum sales. In spring of 2003, she released her self-titled full-length album just before the American Idol movie From Justin to Kelly.
