Love Tractor

Love Tractor is an art rock band that played a pivotal role in the alternative music scene of Athens, Georgia. Alongside iconic bands like the B-52's, Pylon, and REM, Love Tractor helped shape the sound of this vibrant musical community. Formed in 1980 by Michael Richmond, Mark Cline, and Armistead Wellford, the band has undergone several lineup changes over the years.

The current lineup consists of Michael Richmond on guitar and vocals, Mark Cline on guitar, keyboards and vocals, Armistead Wellford on bass, guitar, clarinet and vocals, Doug Stanley on guitar and keyboards, and Joe Rowe on drums and percussion. Previous members include Andrew Carter, Kit Swartz, Bill Berry,Tommy Daughtry,and Tom King.
