Michael Nesmith, also known as Michael Blessing, Nez, Woolhat, and Papa Nez, was a multi-talented American artist. Born on December 30, 1942 in Houston, Texas, he made significant contributions to the music industry as a singer/songwriter, musician, actor, producer, novelist and businessman. He was the proud owner of The Pacific Arts Corp., Inc. Throughout his career, Nesmith's creativity knew no bounds.

With a diverse range of talents and interests spanning various artistic fields including music and literature, Nesmith left an indelible mark on the entertainment world. His work extended beyond his solo endeavors; he collaborated with renowned artists such as *Gene Clark*, *Dillard & Clark*, *The Flying Burrito Brothers*, *The International Submarine Band*, *Roger McGuinn*, *Gram Parsons*, *Chris Hillman* and many others.

Tragically passing away on December 10th 2021 in Carmel Valley Village California at the age of 78,*Michael Nesmith* leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come. 7A Records announces the 50th Anniversary expanded reissue of Michael Nesmith's ground-breaking 1972 album 'And The Hits Just Keep On Comin.' The album has been expanded with bonus tracks and features extensive liner notes. The Vinyl issue is pressed on 180g Honey Beige Coloured vinyl and comes in a gatefold sleeve. By 1972 both Nesmith and his then record company RCA were dismayed at Nesmith's lack of commercial success, following his early 1970 departure from The Monkees. Nesmith took the opportunity to blatantly poke fun at the situation he found himself in, titling his new album - that certainly would not yield a Top 40 hit - 'And the Hits Just Keep on Comin'.
