Mott The Hoople

Mott The Hoople was a British rock band that was active from 1969 until 1974, with occasional reunions starting in 2009. The classic era of the band included members Ian Hunter on vocals and guitar, Mick Ralphs on guitar, Verden Allen on keyboards, Peter "Overend" Watts on bass, and Dale "Buffin" Griffin on drums.

After Ian Hunter left in 1974, two follow-on bands were formed: one from 1974 to 1976 and another from 1977 to 1980. During the period of 1974-76, releases without Hunter are credited to [a2999630]. Additionally, an unofficial or "fake" band recorded Mott The Hoople tracks around 1996/7 under [a6998971].
