The 22nd October is the 60th anniversary of his last recordings, which happened in a Decca studio and included the track 'True Love Ways', which he dedicated to his wife. Buddy used to play the violin and shortly before his death buddy was experimenting with string orchestrations in his music. Now, finally, with his widow as Executive Producer, an album of Buddy Holly's music with full orchestrations from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will be released on Decca, the original label to which he signed to in 1956. The album has full endorsement from the Buddy Holly Foundation and his widow, Maria Elena.
