Nels Cline is an improvisation guitarist and composer born in Los Angeles, California in 1956. With a career spanning over four decades, he has become known for his innovative use of effect pedals and looping devices. From the age of 12, Cline began honing his skills on the guitar, ultimately becoming a master of his craft.

Throughout his musical journey, Nels Cline has collaborated with numerous renowned artists and musicians. Notably, he is the twin brother of Alex Cline and is married to Yuka Honda.
