Night Beats is a psychedelic garage rock band hailing from Seattle, Washington, USA. The band was formed in 2009 by Danny Lee Blackwell and has since become known for their unique sound and captivating live performances.
With influences ranging from 60s garage rock to blues and punk, Night Beats have created a distinct musical style that sets them apart from other bands in the genre. Their music is characterized by gritty guitar riffs, hypnotic rhythms, and haunting vocals.
Although the lineup has changed over the years, Danny Lee Blackwell remains as the sole permanent member of Night Beats. His passion for music and dedication to his craft shine through in every song he creates.

On the heels of announcing their new album, Myth Of A Man, Night Beats are thrilled to follow that up with a limited 7” offering for their new single, “One Thing”. “One Thing” is the first collaboration with Easy Eye Sound, the label curated by Dan Auerbach [The Black Keys]. What makes this pairing even more special is Auerbach worked very closely with Night Beats on their forthcoming album in regards to writing and production. The B-Side to “One Thing” is an exclusive non-abum single titled “Watch The Throne”, written with Matt Shultz [Cage The Elephant]. Named in homage to Sam Cooke's classic album, Night Beats began as a two-piece in 2009 after both Danny Lee Blackwell and James Traeger moved from Texas to Seattle and were soon picked up by Chicago’s Trouble in Mind Records who released their debut album. Cult US West Coast label Burger Records were also on hand, releasing Night Beats’ first two albums via cassette. Having been fans of both records, Heavenly Recordings eventually signed the band in the summer of 2015 and released Who Sold My Generation to much acclaim in 2016.
