Paul Nice

Paul Nice is a renowned DJ and producer who emerged in the early 80's, making a name for himself in his hometown of Poughkeepsie, NY. He quickly gained recognition by spinning at community centers and parties. In the late 90's, Paul moved to Manhattan where he fully embraced producing music after purchasing an Akai MPC-60 II.

Paul has released several iconic albums including "Beats Anonymous" and the popular DJ Break series "5 Fingers of Death" and "Drum Library". His instrumental track "Fist of the White Lotus" has been freestyle'd over by rap legends such as *Biggie Smalls* and *Jay-Z*. With production credits that are highly sought after, Paul has worked with notable artists like Biz Markie, Beastie Boys, Guru, Masta Ace, Talib Kweli, The Roots, and many more.

As a DJ, Paul has performed all around the world in cities like New York City, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney. Recently he collaborated with Slice-Of-Spice Records for limited edition releases featuring rare tracks along with artwork by Joe Buck. Inspired by this collaboration experience, Paul launched his own label called SURE SHOT! in 2011 alongside his partner Desarée Colón. In addition to his solo work, he formed "The Fabreeze Brothers" with Phill Most Chill.
