Pedro The Lion

Pedro the Lion is the brainchild and main output of Seattle singer/songwriter David Bazan. Formed in 1995, the band officially dissolved in January 2006, after which Bazan pursued a solo career. However, in late 2017, Pedro the Lion made a comeback with reunion shows announced by Bazan. The band signed to Polyvinyl Record Company in January 2018 and released new material in early 2019. Throughout its history, Pedro the Lion has had a fluid lineup, with Bazan being the only consistent member from album to album.

Some notable members who have contributed to Pedro the Lion include Brian Olson (drums), Nick Peterson (guitar), Tim Schiefer (guitar), Travis Smith (bass), Johnathon Ford (bass), Blake Wescott (drums), Benjamin Brubaker (drums), Josh Golden (bass), Ben Gibbard (bass - on tour), Trey Many (drums), Casey Foubert (drums/keyboards), TW Walsh (drums), Ken Maiuri (bass), James McAlister(synthesizer, percussion, drums, guitar) Erik Walters(guitar) and Sean Lane(drums).
