Radio Stars

Radio Stars were an English new wave group formed in early 1977. They released two albums and had one UK Top 40 single. With their unique sound and energetic performances, *Radio Stars* quickly gained a dedicated following in the music scene. Their music is often described as a blend of punk rock and pop, with catchy melodies and thought-provoking lyrics.

Influenced by bands such as *The Radiators From Space*, *Johnny Moped*, and *Suburban Studs*, Radio Stars carved out their own distinct style within the new wave genre. Their songs are characterized by witty wordplay, infectious hooks, and a rebellious spirit that resonated with audiences during the late 1970s.

Although they may not have achieved mainstream success on the same level as some of their contemporaries, Radio Stars' impact on the music industry cannot be underestimated. Their influence can be heard in the work of bands like *Eddie & The Hot Rods*, *The Carpettes*, and *The Members*. Despite disbanding after only a few years together, Radio Stars left behind a lasting legacy that continues to inspire musicians today.
