Spectre Folk

Spectre Folk is a solo noise/guitar project that was started by Pete Nolan of the Magik Markers in 1999. Nolan released two LPs, Blackest Medicine and Compass, Blanket, Lantern, Mojo, which showcased his unique blend of soupy psych/noise music.

As Spectre Folk evolved, Nolan recruited Peter Meehan, Aaron Mullan, and Steve Shelley to join the fold. Together, they created a sound that is reminiscent of artists like Bardo Pond, Purling Hiss, and Thurston Moore.

If you enjoy experimental and psychedelic music with a touch of noise and guitar-driven melodies, then Spectre Folk's discography is worth exploring. With their distinct sound and talented lineup of performers including *Peter Meehan*, *Aaron Mullan*, and *Steve Shelley*, Spectre Folk continues to captivate audiences with their unique sonic explorations.
