Steel Pulse

Steel Pulse is a roots reggae band that was formed in 1975 at Handsworth Wood Boys School in Birmingham, England. The band was founded by David Hinds (lead vocals, guitar), Basil Gabbidon (lead guitar, vocals), and Ronald McQueen (bass). With their powerful lyrics and infectious rhythms, Steel Pulse quickly gained recognition as one of the leading reggae bands of their time.

One notable member of the group was Steve "Grizzly" Nisbett, who served as the drummer for Steel Pulse from 1977 to 2001. His contributions to the band's sound were invaluable, and his unique style added depth and energy to their performances.

Throughout their career, Steel Pulse has been influenced by various artists within the reggae genre.
