Straitjacket

Straitjacket is a New Zealand band that was formed in Dunedin in 1986. The original lineup consisted of Shayne Carter on vocals and guitar, John Collie on drums, and David Wood on bass. Andrew Brough joined the band soon after as a vocalist and guitarist. In 1991, Brough left the group due to musical and personal differences. Mark Petersen then joined as a guitarist later that year. The band disbanded in 1994 but regrouped briefly in 2005 for a tour of New Zealand's main cities. Sadly, David Wood passed away suddenly in November 2010. In 2018, the later lineup reformed briefly and toured New Zealand alongside Carter's Dimmer.
