The Soup Dragons

The Soup Dragons were a Scottish alternative rock band formed in 1985 in Bellshill, Scotland. They gained popularity with their cover of the Rolling Stones' song "I'm Free." The band consisted of Sean Dickson on vocals and guitar, Jim McCulloch on guitar, Sushil K. Dade on bass, and Paul Quinn on drums.

Named after a character from the children's television show Clangers, The Soup Dragons became known for their unique sound and energetic performances. With their catchy tunes and infectious energy, they quickly garnered a loyal fan base.

Although the band disbanded in 1995, their music continues to resonate with fans around the world. Their legacy as pioneers of alternative rock lives on through their influential discography and memorable live shows.
