The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band

The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band was an American psychedelic rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1965. The group consisted of three teenagers, brothers Dan and Shaun Harris, their schoolmate Michael Lloyd, and attorney Bob Markley. Markley secured a recording deal with Reprise Records for the band, where they produced a series of unique records. Although they didn't achieve any hits, their most famous composition 'Smell Of Incense' gained popularity through covers by Southwest F.O.B. and others. Ron Morgan later joined as guitarist and went on to play with The Electric Prunes and Three Dog Night.
