The World is a Beautiful Place and I am No Longer Afraid to Die is an emo band that was formed in Willimantic, CT in 2009. The lineup of the band is constantly changing, both for recording and live performances. The current lineup includes David Bello on vocals, Josh Cyr on bass, Steven Buttery on drums, Chris Teti on guitar and trumpet, and Katie Dvorak on keyboards and vocals.

Over the years, the band has had several former members including Dylan Balliett (2015-2017) on guitar and vocals, Tyler Bussey (2009-2010; 2014-2018) on guitar and vocals, Nicole Schoenholz (2009-2010; 2010-2016) who started as a drummer but later switched to guitar and vocals, Thomas Diaz (2009-2012) on vocals and keyboards, Greg Horbal (2010-2015) on guitar and vocals, Julia Peters (2012-2014) playing cello, Brian Casey (2010) on drums, and Devin Spector (2010) on guitar.
