Accept

Accept is a German heavy metal band that originated in Solingen in the early 1970s. The band has undergone several lineup changes throughout the years, including different singers, guitarists, bassists, and drummers. They have disbanded and reformed multiple times since their formation. After their initial split in 1989, Accept reunited in 1992 and released three more albums before disbanding again in 1997. In 2005, they briefly reunited once more before announcing their third reunion in 2009 with Mark Tornillo as the new lead vocalist.

The roots of Accept can be traced back to the late 1960s when they started under the name Band X. Over the course of their career, they have experienced various changes within their lineup but have always remained true to their heavy metal sound.

One notable period for Accept was when Udo Dirkschneider temporarily left the band after the release of Eat the Heat album in 1989. David Reece took over as his replacement during this time. However, Accept's original members eventually regrouped and continued creating music together.
