Dicks

The Dicks were a punk rock band formed in Austin, Texas in 1980. Led by the confrontational stage presence of *Gary Floyd*, the band gained notoriety for their raucous music and fearless performances. In 1983, they relocated to San Francisco but soon returned to Austin with a new lineup. After releasing one LP, the band disbanded in 1986. However, in recent years, *Floyd*, *Buxf Parrot*, and *Pat Deason* have reunited for special shows around Austin. Although there are no plans for a full-time reunion, their impact on punk rock is undeniable.
