Leaf Hound

Leaf Hound is a British rock band that formed in 1969. Originally known as Black Cat Bones, the band went through several lineup changes before settling on their current name. Led by vocalist Peter French and guitarist Mick Halls, Leaf Hound recorded their debut album "Growers of Mushroom" in 1970. The album became a collector's item and was hailed as one of the most collectable rock albums by Q magazine. In 2004, Leaf Hound reformed with a new lineup and released their highly acclaimed album "Unleashed" in 2007.

Their debut album "Growers of Mushroom," recorded in London, featured tracks from their self-titled album along with bonus tracks. After its release, French left to join Atomic Rooster and later Cactus. The album gained popularity over the years and was re-released multiple times with additional bonus tracks.

In 2004, Peter French assembled a new version of Leaf Hound and released a limited edition live recording featuring the song "Freelance Fiend." They followed this up with the release of their highly anticipated album "Unleashed" in 2007. This album received critical acclaim for its strong songs, powerful performances, and preservation of classic rock sound.
