September Girls

September Girls were a five-piece noise pop band from Dublin, Ireland. The band formed in September 2011 and consisted of *Paula Cullen* on vocals and lead bass, *Caoimhe Derwin* on vocals and rhythm guitar, *Lauren Kerchner* on vocals and keys, *Jessie Ward* on vocals and lead guitar, and *Sarah Grimes* on drums.

The members of September Girls had previous experience with bands such as The Chalets, Talulah Does The Hula, and Neosupervital. Their music can be described as a blend of noise pop with influences from various genres. They have been compared to artists like Girls Names, Veronica Falls, Dum Dum Girls, Crystal Stilts, and many others.

Throughout their career, September Girls released several albums including "Cursing the Sea" in 2014 and "Age of Indignation" in 2016. They gained recognition for their unique sound characterized by haunting melodies combined with gritty guitars and powerful vocal harmonies.
