Capitol Records, founded in 1942 as Liberty Records, is a renowned music label based in Hollywood, California. With a rich history and impressive sales of 42 million records by 1946, Capitol quickly became one of the Big Six studios. He gained fame as a founding member of Generation X in 1976 before embarking on a successful solo career. After the release of his second studio album "Rebel Yell" in 1983, he became an international rock star and moved to the US to further his career.

Idol's music videos were known for their constant playback on MTV during its early days. His unique blend of punk rock and hard rock influences has earned him a dedicated fan base around the world.
