Girls Aloud were a British girl group formed in 2002 on the talent show Popstars: The Rivals. Consisting of Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, and Kimberley Walsh, they achieved great success with 20 consecutive UK Top 10 singles (including four number ones) and two UK number one albums. They were nominated for four BRIT Awards and won Best Single in 2009 for "The Promise". In March 2013, shortly after their final concert, the group announced their breakup on Twitter.
In August 2020, Sarah Harding revealed she had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer that had spread throughout her body. Despite doctors' prognosis that she would not see another Christmas, she fought bravely until September 5th, 2021 when she peacefully passed away.

For the first time on vinyl, What Will The Neighbours Say is available as a sky-blue LP on 140grams. Even better, there’s a 3CD deluxe too, containing the original UK version of the album with 14 previously unreleased tracks including (scream!) three Girls Aloud tracks never heard before– all were produced by Xenomania, and they number the band’s cover of the Chris Isaac classic, ‘Wicked Game’ plus two new songs that didn’t make the final cut, ‘Disco Bunny’ and ‘Baby When You Go’.

There are also classic B-sides such as ‘Androgynous Girls’ and ‘History’, rare TV performance edits of the hits, a sparkling selection of the album’s attendant remixes, and Girls Aloud’s much-loved covers from this era of Blondie’s ‘Hanging On The Telephone’ and Chaka Khan’s ‘I’m Every Woman’.
