Ipecac Recordings

Ipecac Recordings, founded by Greg Werckman and Mike Patton in 1999, has been making waves in the music industry for over two decades. With a reputation for pushing boundaries and challenging conventions, this label has earned its slogan of "Making people sick since 1999".

During its early years, Ipecac Recordings faced challenges in reaching European audiences. Fans had to import their favorite releases from the label's website or American online stores. However, thanks to partnerships with Caroline Distribution and Southern Records between 2000 and 2006, European editions became more accessible.

In 2006, Ipecac signed an exclusive distribution deal with Fontana for both Europe and the USA. This milestone allowed the label to expand its reach even further and solidify its presence in the global music scene.

Formed in 1985 in Eureka, California, *Mr Bungle* is an influential and eclectic band that has left a lasting impact on the music industry. With three albums released on Warner Bros, the band took a hiatus from 2000 onwards. However, they made a triumphant return in 2019 and released a re-recorded demo on the Ipecac Label.

The current lineup of *Mr Bungle* consists of Mike Patton on vocals and keyboards, Trey Spruance on guitar and keyboards, Trevor Dunn on bass, Scott Ian on guitar (since 2019), and Dave Lombardo on drums (since 2019). Throughout their career, they have also had notable former members such as Jed Watts and Hans Wagner on drums during their early years.

Known for their unique sound blending various genres including rock, metal, jazz, funk, and more,*Mr Bungle* has captivated audiences with their innovative approach to music. Their performances are characterized by powerful vocals from Mike Patton along with intricate instrumentals provided by the talented musicians in the band.

On 30th Oct 2020, Mr. Bungle released their first studio album since 1999. The Raging Wrath Of The Easter Bunny Demo, which was a re-recording of the band's 1986 high school thrash metal demo along with songs written then, but never recorded. The album features original members Mike Patton, Trey Spruance and Trevor Dunn, joined by Scott Ian of Anthrax and Dave Lombardo of Slayer/Dead Cross.

On 31st Oct 2020, the band celebrated the release with a massive livestream event, The Night They Came Home. The event featured a full live show plus an opening set by America’s funnyman, Neil Hamburger, plus cameos from musicians and celebrities such as Eric Andre and Josh Homme (of Queens Of The Stone Age).

It's now released as a combo audio and video release in two formats for retail, a CD+Blu-Ray and CD+DVD.

Both formats include the following 2 Disc - CD and Video Format packaged in a 6-panel, CD-sized digipak The CD features audio from the band’s full performance The Video disc features behind-the-scenes footage, the full HD broadcast of the show, plus the official music videos for “Raping Your Mind”, “Eracist” and “Sudden Death” The DVD is NTSC Region 0 and the Blu-Ray is Region Free
